90 days from blueberry season!

After Bob's retirement we spent a few weeks traveling the Southwest. We came back refreshed and excited to begin the work that is needed to ensure a productive crop. We are spending our days pruning bushes, pulling weeds and brambles, checking irrigation, and enjoying a more relaxed pace with both of us working in the field.

I just want to touch on our market situation this season. We will continue to have our product available at the downtown Gaylord Farmer's Market under the pavilion. This market is now run by a Co-op which is run by the vendors. There is no doubt that this market is going to become the premier market in the northern Michigan region! The energy and commitment to healthy living and community is bringing in sponsorships and some very unique food vendors. We believe in community and so will be supporting the downtown market. The pavilion will be a great place to come shop, gather, and enjoy!
